SPECIAL

PLANTERS’ LIST

Hudson’s Nurseries

TANGENT, OREGON

A. D. HUDSON, Proprietor

NOTICE TO PLANTERS

Nowhere can fruit be grown to such perfection, as
in our own Northwest, and in the markets where this
fact is known, it commands the highest of prices and
is creating an unlimited demand. New markets are
continually opening up for our fruits and while there
has been a seemingly surplus production in some lines™
this condition was caused by '‘hiding our light under
a bushel” so to speak, for people cannot buy what
they do not know exists— we have really not had a
surplus of anything. But we have not advertised
what we have had to sell. However growers in all
lines are now beginning to advertise and are organiz-
ing so as to cooperate along the selling end of the
fruit business. Also, the Northwest is now being
advertised as never before, not only in print, but by
the thousands of tourists passing through. Each one
of them is a living advertisement, many of whom are
coming back, with the purpose in view of buying
homes and raising fruit.

Those who wish to sell their real estate, having the
foresight to start a good commercial orchard on same,
will surely reap their reward not only by finding an
easier and quicker sale but will get paid many times
over for their efforts in the price received. Even
should you not care to sell, your orchard will be a
real investment, bringing in money when other crops
are proving unprofitable. Diversify your crops by
having some fruit, also, to market.

Black Walnut

We have a fine stock of Black Walnut 1 to 2 feet
high, many planters are using to start their French
Varieties on. (Don’t plant large Walnut trees, the
small ones transplant better).

We offer these at $20.00 per 100; $175.00 per 1000; 500
at 1000 rates.

By planting these where you want your orchard to
stand and having them grafted where they stand, your
cost will be cut in half, and you will also have a better
orchard, for your root system will be fully established
and your trees growing strong from the time they are
grafted.
